Welcome, visitor. Welcome to a forest where four Clans reside in constant competition, where loners and rogues struggle on the sidelines, where the strong are outmaneuvered by the weak and the brave make their own way through will alone. Welcome to a forest where StarClan does not speak, and no cat knows the reason for their silence. In a forest where nothing is certain, the only constant is the will of individuals to survive because every breath could be their last.

When the ancestors they vaunted went silent, there was confusion at first. Then there was panic and fear, unrest and blame. Moons passed without a word from the Clans' starry ancestors, and tensions rose until at last a bloodbath at Fourtrees put an end to the Gathering tradition. Thus began a period of silence between all the Clans of the forest—one which continues to stretch on with no end in sight.

Now StarClan has been silent for a full year, and chaos still reigns. ThunderClan and RiverClan are on the verge of war, and conflict within ShadowClan has split the Clan into two factions—the believers and the rebels. No cat hears from WindClan any more, as they keep to themselves and their so-called prophet, worshipping her in lieu of the ancestors who no-longer offer their guidance. As falling leaves herald the leaf-bare that is on its way, no cat knows what the coming moons will hold for the forest's four Clans.

	LEADER'S DEN Located in a comfortable hollow beneath the roots of a big oak tree, the leader's den overlooks a large clearing near the center of camp. Cats of all ages gather here during Clan meetings to listen to what the leader has to say.	No posts have been made on this board.
	MEDICINE CAT'S DEN A rock propped up against a large, smooth boulder shelters the cave where ShadowClan's medicine cats make their den. Herbs are stored in holes dug in the ground, and there is room enough for several extra nests near the back of the den.	No posts have been made on this board.
	WARRIORS' DEN Located underneath a bramble bush, the warriors' den is lined with pine needles and moss. The den is placed near the entrance and right next to the nursery, so that emerging warriors can respond quickly to incoming attacks.	No posts have been made on this board.
	APPRENTICES' DEN Like the Clan's warriors, training apprentices also den under a bramble bush, lining their nests with pine needles and moss. The apprentices' den is placed near the elders' den, making it easy for the Clan's elders to call apprentices to do their bidding.	No posts have been made on this board.
	NURSERY The nursery is a quiet hollow, shielded by a thorn bush and tucked into a secluded corner of camp. It is well protected against the weather and intruding cats, and placed within easy reach of the warriors' den to provide nursing mothers extra protection.	No posts have been made on this board.
	ELDERS' DEN Located close to the nursery and away from any harm, the elders' nests are surrounded by brambles and lined with the finest moss. ShadowClan may be a secretive, private group of cats, but they take care of their own.	No posts have been made on this board.

Board Information & Statistics

SHADOWCLAN CAMP

A dark, well-concealed hollow, ShadowClan's camp is hidden deep within their territory and surrounded by dense brambles. Low- hanging branches protect the secretive Clan's stronghold from prying eyes, and also shelter the cats within from the elements. Despite the camp's low elevation, this part of the territory drains well, and is significantly drier than the surrounding swamp.
