Welcome to a forest where four Clans reside in constant competition, where loners and rogues struggle on the sidelines, where the strong are outmaneuvered by the weak and the brave make their own way through will alone. Welcome to a forest where StarClan does not speak, and no cat knows the reason for their silence. In a forest where nothing is certain, the only constant is the will of individuals to survive because every breath could be their last.

When the ancestors they vaunted went silent, there was confusion at first. Then there was panic and fear, unrest and blame. Moons passed without a word from the Clans' starry ancestors, and tensions rose until at last a bloodbath at Fourtrees put an end to the Gathering tradition. Thus began a period of silence between all the Clans of the forest—one which continues to stretch on with no end in sight.

Now StarClan has been silent for a full year, and chaos still reigns. ThunderClan and RiverClan are on the verge of war, and conflict within ShadowClan has split the Clan into two factions—the believers and the rebels. No cat hears from WindClan any more, as they keep to themselves and their so-called prophet, worshipping her in lieu of the ancestors who no-longer offer their guidance. As falling leaves herald the leaf-bare that is on its way, no cat knows what the coming moons will hold for the forest's four Clans.

[/b] The first thing that usually strikes another cat about Lilyheart's looks is her enormous size. She's huge, probably about one and a half times the size of the average cat. Muscular as anything. Her long fur only adds to that, making her seem twice as large as average. Her fur is a light grey, streaked with darker shades. It isn't necessarily tabby, more like someone painted it across her back. Her eyes are wide and pale green, and her tail is long and flowing. She has to take a long time grooming but luckily she has plenty of help from her clan mates. Her ears are medium size and pointed, and that combined with the tufts of white fur at her cheeks make her face appear wider, more like a lynx.

Overall she tends to put off a very sharp, scary vibe and cats tend to steer clear of her because of this. She seems like a cat who could rip off someone's head with a flick of her claw and that is definitely not an overstatement. She doesn't seem like the kind of cat who should be messed with and the lack of serious scars seems to prove that point.

Ironically contrary to her looks, Lily is a very dignified and graceful cat. She knows the kind of power she wields and she doesn't feel the need to prove it all the time. Usually her looks are enough to stop any threat from becoming serious. She's very quiet but when she speaks she has a stern power about her words. She knows exactly what she wants and believes in, and will stand up for those things with all the eloquence of a very much older cat. She was the kind of apprentice that savored her time caring for the elders and learning all of their stories and wisdom, and that definitely reads in her personality now.
She isn't necessarily maternal or caring but she has a deep respect for others and that adds a warmth to her personality that seems out of place. She's less fond of the bouncing, clawing, boasting personalities of kits, and will usually stay as far from the nursery as she can in her duties. She'd much rather spend her time sharing tongues with elders or hunting with her fellow warriors. She doesn't yet have an apprentice because she's openly expressed her distaste for young cats. Even as a kit herself she was the boring loner who stuck close to her mother's side.
Lilyheart firmly believes in starclan's power and that if the clans just stick to their faith in the old ways, they will soon return and bless the forest again.

Lilyheart is the only surviving kit in her litter. She was the biggest and strongest- and therefore the only one able to survive an outbreak of severe greencough in the nursery that winter. Even her mother suffered badly from the sickness, a cough persisting for the rest of her life. As stated before, Lilyheart was always a quiet and laid back cat, and she enjoyed her apprentice duties of caring for the elders and sharing tongues with them.

Much to the frustration of her mentor, she always held herself back during sparring but would often throw a match just to get out of having to fight further. Once she became a warrior, her name was chosen to fit her perfectly- her heart was as soft and pure as the petals of lily flowers She took to her duties seriously, though she still spent a lot of time with the elders. As a warrior she used her skills in speaking to call for peace during disputes. She always tried to keep herself and those in her immediate family out of conflict but with a family as fiery as hers sometimes that was out of her control. Often, frustrated with how impulsive the other cats can be, she would hide among the elders, seeking comfort from their council and trying to relax herself.

When Starclan stopped communicating with the clans, she was heartbroken but tried to keep her head up and help her clanmates to do the same. The call for the cats to abandon their old ways came and she fought it religiously, calling her clan to hold together as a family and a community. Still, her own family became the loudest voices for a new order, a turn of events that saddened the large cat greatly. She still spends time traveling between the groups, trying to change her nieces hearts and get her older sister back home and to safety.
