Average in size, Fogpaw holds his own when compared to the rest of his siblings. Taking on some of the Riverclan lankiness, he has narrow sloped shoulders and a longer form accompanied by a sleek tail. He's not nearly as skinny as his brother Smokepaw, but he definitely is not the most robust either. Generally, he is going to me more slender than a Thunderclan cat and larger than a Shadowclan cat. Fogpaw's pelt is also just as gently sleek like the rest of his clan's. His is dappled with grey and a flurry of tiger tabby stripes that blend together, living up to his name. In contrast, his eyes are a brilliant golden green color that stands out from his coat of grey. They are naturally the first things to notice about him, and their depths seem endless as he unabashedly stares on. It's a running joke that his gaze is the only thing to pierce the "fog".
» personality:
confident -- brave -- steadfast -- trusting -- diplomatic -- dedicated -- traditional -- commanding
Fogpaw is almost annoyingly likable. His self confidence is definitely noticeable but he doesn't radiate it to the point of unbearableness. Instead, it's more of a self-assurance as Fogpaw knows his capabilities and limits, trusting his skills and senses. He retains the natural ability to compartmentalize and almost measure his abilities and stretch them accordingly as he knows. If that jump is too high for him to reach, Fogpaw almost certainly knows and will express such. He's also fairly brave in using those skills. If he knows he can help, he almost undoubtedly will--to hell with fear. It's not often that he has been placed in the situation where the cold ice of fright gripped his heart, but each time it has he has been able to pull through and do what was necessary.
Being incredibly loyal is also another one of his traits. He will defend his clan to the end and live his life by the code, and he'll stick up for those he considered his friends and those in his family. Fogpaw is also the moral sense for those around him, the one to ask if this is really the right thing to do. Because of this, he is also a lot more open to others than the average cat. He's always willing to listen, even if the other cat is just complaining. In fact, he may not have to listen at all as he is very acute on picking up body language and noticing if something is wrong. Dedicated to finding the solution to make everyone happy, Fogpaw always tries to do right by others. He never pries further than he is ever allowed to, but he's always trying to figure out how to make things better out of a bad situation.
His drawback is that he takes charge of the situation with naturalistic intent. Some may not find this a bad thing at all as the follower types are thankful for his tendency to take the lead. He himself is not bad under authority, but he has a tendency to take the authority position without realizing, even when the position has already been taken.

» background:
Coming into the world, Fogkit and his siblings were met with much adoration. Five healthy kits to become strong Riverclan warriors in the future. Fogkit himself was met with the adoration of his mother and care of his father in abundance amounts. Truly, there was no right for him to complain about his first moons of life. He was well liked among his siblings and no hardships befell them in that time. But, the peace passed as the Battle of Fourtrees swept in from the result of the Silence, a word whispered in hushed voices around the camp. Fogkit, at two moons, could hardly understand that his father and many others would never be coming back. He didn't know it then, but that day that the broken trudged back into camp was the day his mother shattered over loss. The queen retreated herself into protecting her kits and he remembers those moons as bittersweet as his mother did her best with all her kits.
Coming out of the nursery, however, was the harsh reality that the world was unwell. Starclan continued their silence, abandoning the cats in the forest. The tension between cats--even the ones in the clan as many seemed to begrudge their own leader--was palpable. Thunderclan seemed to be an ominous threat just waiting to strike. The moons continued on, however. The clan could not stay idle. Traditions had to be upheld, and on their sixth moon Fogkit was named Fogpaw among his brothers and sisters.
Fogpaw excelled under his duties as apprentice and with only minor hindrances his apprenticeship was the beginning of the gentlest kit of the litter becoming something so grand as to be called a warrior. With his ceremony likely only a few moons away, Fogpaw is working hard to please his mentor as best as he is able to become part of the force and defence that Riverclan desperately needs. [/ul]
